





This popular course suits outdoor enthusiasts and established or aspirant mountain leaders. This course validates National Governing Body awards such as SPA and ML. Two days of instruction that includes outdoor practical scenarios and assessment. Bolt on the AED (Defibrillator) Operators course for just £35 extra. This is delivered at the end of the MFA teaching on the first day of the programme taking roughly 2 hours to complete.
This four day intensive course is designed for those who work in remote areas and require advanced medical skills. It teaches advanced airway management, oxygen therapy, defibrillation, vehicle extrication and much more. The Mountain First Aid course or equivilant is a pre-requisite for this programme.

A 3-4 hour course that equips the delegate with the necessary skills to operate an AED safely and effectively. It also teaches the importance of good CPR and provides understanding of cardiac illnesses. The Resuscitation Council now emphasise the importance of early defibrillation making this course an important factor to saving lives. Defibrillators are becoming common in public areas and the workplace.

Ideal for schools, crèches and playgroups this course meets the requirements of OfSTED. In this 12 hour course (normally over two days) you will gain the knowledge and skill to deal with an array of medical conditions and traumas a child may experience including asthma attack, anaphylaxis, convulsions, basic life support, burns and scalds, fractures and drowning.

The EFAW course is recognised by the HSE. This 6 hour course teaches delegates life-saving techniques including CPR, recovery position and control of bleeding. Delegates receive a course manual and a certificate valid for 3 years is issued upon successful completion.
This course satisfies HSE law but also can be delivered as part of team building sessions. Scenarios are tailored to suit your place of work to add realism to the course. The EFAW course can be run over one day, two part days or two evening sessions.

Delivered over 3 days it covers more in depth conditions than the EFAW. Delegates will learn about resuscitation, choking, control of bleeding, burns, fractures, poisoning, asthma and seizures. The course is valid for 3 years and a certificate is issued upon successful completion.
This course satisfies HSE law (first aid regulations 1981). The FAW course can be run over 3 consecutive days or in certain circumstances can be split over several weeks.
